My inspiration for this was the song "War in My Head" by messwave, which immediately hooked me with how it builds — I just love that kind of progression: when music starts off calm
and then explodes into this intense, almost techno-like energy. It’s perfect for music videos like this one.
The story behind the piece is simple but heavy: it’s about overstimulation. That’s where the name "Tinnitus" came from. It’s a metaphor for the constant
mental noise we live with — the feeling of being watched, overwhelmed, and trapped in a system you can’t escape.
And when you do try to break free, you’re met with
consequences. The result turned out quite grim, dark, and adult in tone, so prolly the next project should head more into a stylized direction.
Of course, there’s still a lot I see that could’ve been improved — but deadlines are deadlines, and I’ll probably leave it as is. Better done than perfect.
